Public meeting on future of GRMC
The Grant County Board of Commissioners has announced the completion of presentations from potential GRMC partners and GRMC leaders. The commissioners heard presentations from Cobre Valley Regional Medical Center, LifePoint Health and GRMC leaders. The presentations were an opportunity for the organizations to outline their vision for GRMC and ensuring Grant Countyís healthcare future.

Grant County Commissioners will hold a public meeting on April 26 to provide an update on the County's GRMC partnership exploration process and to listen to members of the community. Meetings with physicians and GRMC employees are also being held.

An anonymous donor has funded the purchase of a Reverse Emergency Notification system for Grant County.  Register your phones, cell phones and email addresses to receive alerts of evacuations, emergency events, road closures and other significant events.   • 26 April 6:30 PM - Quorum Notice - Grant County Community Meeting.    A quorum of the Grant County Board of Commissioners may attend the Grant County Community Meeting on Thursday, April 26, 2018 at 6:30 p.m. The Meeting will be held at the Grant County Veterans Memorial Conference Center, located at 3031 Highway 180 E., Silver City, NM 88061. The agenda for this meeting may be altered up to seventy-two (72) hours prior to the meeting; copies can be obtained from the County Managerís Office or viewed online at www.grantcountynm.com. The purpose of the hearing is to discuss the County Budget for Fiscal Year 2018 - 2019.
